Second album for Shores, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and yes, so far, they didn't get the attention or recognition they deserve, and they are back, plowing the same slowcore ground as ever.

Shores & Charles The Osprey - ritual (2011, No Idea)

This is a collaborative split EP between two bands, which were rehearsing and writing music in the same household, and progressively from meeting each other regularly came this idea of recording  something together.

Charles the Osprey is Rafael Ohli (guitar) and Derek Lancioni (drums), they play loud instrumental math-rock. Shores is Brian Przybylski (guitar, vocals, bass) and John Massel (drums), they play slowcore music under obvious Codeine / Bedhead influences. 

Shores - coup de grâce (2010, No Idea)

From Grand Rapids, Michigan,  Shores is a duo formed by Brian Przybylski (guitar, vocals, bass) and John Massel (drums) and their debut album is a pure slowcore jewel with obvious references to some absolute masters of the genre such as Bedhead, Seam, Codeine, Low, Red House Painters, Kepler, C-Clamp or Bluetile Lounge.
